Why everyone keeps coming back.

Nestled in the charming heart of Es Canar, Casa Juan offers an authentic Mediterranean dining experience that delights both locals and travelers alike. Specializing in traditional Spanish and Mediterranean flavors, this cozy restaurant serves up some of the island’s most memorable dishes in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Casa Juan’s culinary crown jewel, as passionately praised by numerous guests, is undoubtedly their paella. Described by Chiara Amore as the "Best Paella on the island," the dish is a vibrant celebration of fresh, perfectly cooked seafood and rice infused with rich saffron and herbs. Each bite bursts with the Mediterranean sun – earthy, savory, and balanced by a subtle zestiness that lingers pleasantly on the palate.

Beyond paella, Casa Juan shines with an enticing menu of tapas and light meals, including the beloved "café y tostada con tomate" – simple yet bursting with fresh, natural flavors. Guests like Margaret Wilding appreciate the variety and quality, savoring everything from aromatic coffees to fresh, tomato-topped toast in an environment that feels more like a welcoming family kitchen than a typical restaurant.

The ambiance at Casa Juan perfectly complements its menu. Quiet and intimate, it’s an ideal spot for romantic dinners or relaxed gatherings. Adam Niedzielski notes the authentic, homely feel, where every meal tastes like it has been lovingly prepared by family members. Paired with a jug of sangria, the experience becomes not just a meal but a heartfelt celebration of Mediterranean culture.

Customer testimonials highlight not only the exceptional food but also the warmth of the hospitality. Nacho and the team are repeatedly commended for making every guest feel at home, elevating the dining experience from a simple meal to a memorable occasion. Whether it’s recovering faith in tapas after a disappointing meal elsewhere, like JS mentioned, or planning a return visit as Marta Kohoutova expressed, Casa Juan clearly leaves a lasting impression.

For anyone seeking a genuine taste of the Balearic Islands with dishes crafted from quality ingredients and served with genuine kindness, Casa Juan on Avinguda Punta Arabí is a must-visit. It captures the essence of Mediterranean cuisine with passion, authenticity, and a welcoming spirit that invites you to linger, savor, and return.

Excellent food and service. We loved every dish. We had some bad tapas before this so it restored our faith in being able to get good tapas again. Thank you for your hospitality and quality food. We will return again.

Just enjoyed a lovely light breakfast of coffee and toast with tomato (café ytostada con tomate) at Casa Juan. There is a varied and excellent menu of meals and tapas here. We are so lucky to have this welcoming, cosy restaurant and bar in Es Canar.

A restaurant with delicious tapas and very nice service. The best cappuccino I've ever had. I recommend it to anyone who wants to get to know the local food and atmosphere and in the evening drink a beer and watch a football.

It is the best restaurant in Es canar, hands down. The food was amazing the owner of extreme kindness and very welcoming he made me feel like home. It is not a tourist trap and the food is authentic. Prices are the best in es canar. A place loved by the locals. To the owner: muchas gracias para todo. I ate there 2 times but I chose the Chinese restaurant across the street for my last night and I regret that decision. Highly recommended
